About this publication

Our Vision is based on five key 'Ambitions'.

We want all residents in South Tyneside to be:

  1. financially secure
  2. healthy and well
  3. connected to jobs, skills and learning
  4. part of strong communities

And we want to support our residents by:

  1. targeting support to make things fairer

As a Council we have produced a 'Strategy' to set out what we will do, working closely with our residents and partners, over the next three years to contribute to the delivery of our 20 Year Vision and Ambitions.

This includes a clear set of priorities and a high-level action plan for each of the five Ambitions.
