Recipe idea: Chicken and garlic pasta

Ingredients

  • 500g pasta of your choice
  • 3 cloves of minced garlic
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • 15g butter
  • Salt and pepper (optional)

Method

  1. Cook the pasta following the instructions on the package
  2. Cut up the chicken
  3. In a small pan, melt the butter and add the chicken, cook for 10 minutes then add in the garlic
  4. If the pasta is cooked, drain it and save approximately half a cup of the pasta water to be used later
  5. Add the stock cube to the chicken, with a pinch of salt and pepper
  6. Add the chicken to the pan with the pasta, along with the cup of pasta water and stir
  7. Lower the heat, and cook for 2 minutes
