Recipe idea: Chicken and garlic pasta
Ingredients
- 500g pasta of your choice
- 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 chicken stock cube
- 15g butter
- Salt and pepper (optional)
Method
- Cook the pasta following the instructions on the package
- Cut up the chicken
- In a small pan, melt the butter and add the chicken, cook for 10 minutes then add in the garlic
- If the pasta is cooked, drain it and save approximately half a cup of the pasta water to be used later
- Add the stock cube to the chicken, with a pinch of salt and pepper
- Add the chicken to the pan with the pasta, along with the cup of pasta water and stir
- Lower the heat, and cook for 2 minutes
