Overview
Body image is the perception that a person has of their physical self and the thoughts and feelings that result from that perception. These feelings can be positive, negative, or both, and are influenced by individual and environmental factors.
About the campaign
In 2018 South Tyneside's Young People's Parliament ran a campaign to raise awareness of body image issues for young people. They explored the theme through a series of events, collecting young people's views and identifying their issues or concerns.
