Overview

South Tyneside Youth Council (STYC) is fun, informal and a great way to meet new people and make a difference.

We are young people from across South Tyneside, aged 11 to 18 years old.

We meet regularly to discuss the issues affecting young people who are living in our borough.

We also run regular campaigns. Our campaign theme for 2024-26 is 'Culture, Media and Sport'.

View all our campaigns and more about what we do on our South Tyneside Youth Council (STYC) campaign site.

Services for young people

As part of the 2022 health and wellbeing campaign, we came up with a list of service information and places to visit for young people in South Tyneside.
