About this course
This course is for those who have contact with children, young people and their families.
It offers an understanding about the impact of sexual abuse on children and young people and what effective multi-agency interventions are available.
Aims
The aim of the course is to raise awareness about the nature of sexual abuse and its impact on children and families.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the session participants will be able to:
- Define sexual abuse
- Identify the signs and symptoms of sexual abuse
- Recognise the impact of sexual abuse on children and young people
