Who can attend a course

Anybody who works with children, adults and families in South Tyneside can apply for a place. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.

Once you have applied online, you will get an email telling you we have received your application.

We will then look through the applications to make sure there is a mix of practitioners from different organisations.

Having a mix of people at the course will improve your learning and knowledge.

Once we are happy there's a mix of applicants, we'll send you and your line manager a course confirmation email and an Outlook invite approximately 6 weeks before the training event.

The email will include the course details, location, times and any other relevant information in connection to the course.

How the courses are evaluated

We will ask you to complete an evaluation after you have finished the course.

We will tell you the method of evaluation at the course, and we will help you to complete it.

Evaluations are now done via Microsoft Forms using the provided link or a QR code.
