About this course

This is a briefing session aimed at all practitioners who may be required to complete a referral for children / young people identified as at risk of exploitation.

The session will cover all elements of the MSET paperwork and explain the MSET meeting process and the role of those who attend.

The session covers:

  • The rationale for MSET
  • An overview of the paperwork required and timescales for submission
  • An overview of the panel members
  • The expectations when attending the MSET meeting
  • What happens after MSET

This is an online course

This course will take place on Microsoft Teams.

You will get a link to join the meeting one week before the course.


Who can attend

Anyone working with children, adults and families in South Tyneside can apply for a place.
