Support available

The Job Centre Plus consider reasonable adjustments and accessibility needs of anyone who has health conditions and / or disabilities.

There is specialised support available for those with health conditions and / or disabilities to find and sustain work.

Each work coach's help is tailored to each person they see.

The work coach will:

  • work with you to help upskill and find a job through a variety of providers (include specialist disability provision)
  • offering training and work alongside employers
  • encouraging you to embrace the Government's Disability Confident agenda by offering extra support to applicants and employees with health conditions and disabilities.

If a person requires extra support because of a health condition or disability, they can request to speak to a Disability Employment Advisor within the Job Centre who can offer specialised support.
