Overview
With over 150 progressions into apprenticeships each year from their study programme and traineeships, Resources North East's programmes are the perfect start to your career.
The study programmes are delivered over 30 hours per week, up to 20 weeks.
What is on offer
Painting and Decorating - You'll develop the basic skills needed to be a painter and decorator including decorative finishes, cutting in and rolling paint.
Bricklaying - You'll learn how to install cavity walling, straight brickwork skills, use of tools, time management and critical health and safety requirements needed in the role.
Joinery - You'll begin to understand basic joints, installation of door frames, door hinges and locks. You'll complete a work-based project to further develop the skills employers demand of you including fitting of kitchen units and counter tops.
Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy - The Hair and Beauty sector provides services to people across all walks of life. If you enjoy talking to people and helping them look and feel great then perhaps a career in Hair, Beauty or Barbering could be for you. You can explore courses in Hairdressing, Barbering and Beauty.
