Overview

The catastrophic bleed course will take around 3 hours to complete and covers:

  • bleeding management
  • the use of haemostatic dressings and tourniquets in high risk industry and job roles such as forestry, engineering or working with those at risk of harm

This course will give you the necessary skills needed to preserve life and manage blood loss.

The airway management course is also 3 hours long and looks at:

  • aspiration
  • use of oro-pharyngeal and naso-pharyngeal airways and the risks and benefits of their useage

The courses take place indoors so please wear comfortable clothing as there is some kneeling down and casualty handling. 

Price and what is included

Prices start from £50 per person and includes:

  • all instruction
  • certification
  • a course booklet
  • lunch if booked as a full day course
  • access to all resources and hands on practical techniques

All of our courses are supported by qualified and NUCO Training Ltd approved instructors, which includes a comprehensive risk assessment before the course starts.
