This Needs Assessment focuses on the development of short break provision within the Borough.

The objective was:

  • To provide the AHDC Board with accurate up-to-date information and analysis so that they are better able:
    • To assess services against the needs of the population.
    • To make sure there is the right provision to meet the needs of severely disabled children and their families
    • To make sure there is age appropriate provision that makes certain disabled children are not disadvantaged in accessing short breaks.
