Overview
Local Health provides quality assured health information at a small level, for users in health services, local government, and the public.
Reports produced in Local Health allow users to compare any selected area with the England average for a range of indicators.
Reports are split into two parts.
Part one contains the following themes:
- Ethnicity and language
- Deprivation
- Housing and living environment
- Employment
- Long-term health conditions and morbidity
- Children's weight (NCMP)
- Children's health care activity
- Child and maternal health
- Behavioural risk factors
Part two contains the following themes:
- Hospital admissions - harm and injury
- Cancer incidence
- Life expectancy
- Mortality and causes of death - premature mortality
- Mortality and cause of death
