Meeting to Discuss Community Activity

Residents living in the Jarrow and Boldon areas of South Tyneside can find out what is happening in their local neighbourhood at the next meeting of their Community Area Forum (CAF).

 

At the meeting Councillors will receive an update on housing and area management activities carried out by South Tyneside Homes in Jarrow and Boldon.

Members will also here about how funding from the CAF has benefited the local area and communities.

Chair of the Committee, Councillor Margaret Peacock, said: "These meetings are a great opportunity for residents to keep up to date with what's going on in their local community and be informed of any issues that could affect them.

"There is always much to discuss at these meeting so I would encourage anyone who is interested to come along."

The next meeting will be held on Thursday 20 February at 5pm at Jarrow Town Hall.  Members of the public and press are welcome.
