Report an issue with a traffic light
Most traffic lights and pedestrian signals in South Tyneside are maintained by the Regional Traffic Signal Service based in Newcastle. The service covers the whole of Tyne and Wear and surrounding counties.
If you spot a signal fault, please contact the Regional Traffic Signal Service on:

In most cases, a traffic signal technician will be on site within two hours of the report.
