Village Residents Reminded to give their Views

Press team , 15 November 2021 13:51

South Tyneside residents are reminded that time is running out to have their say on the Whitburn Neighbourhood Plan.

There are just a few days left before the end of consultation on the Plan, which has been developed by the village's Neighbourhood Forum.

A neighbourhood plan is a mean of communities having a say in the future of places where they live and work, helping to shape development and growth in their local areas, including where they want homes, offices, transport and other community infrastructure to be built.

Development of the Whitburn Neighbourhood Plan is already at an advanced stage, with it currently subject to the final round of consultation.

The consultation period ends this Friday, 19 November.
