We have increased the number of personal search slots available each week, however these are being filled quickly. Overview
Anyone may make a personal search of the Local Land Charges Register free of charge, by appointment.
Appointments
Appointments are available on a "first come, first served" basis.
Appointments can be made by contacting the Local Land Charges team on 0191 424 7205.
Before the appointment
Anyone wishing to make a personal search of the Register should provide the Local Land Charges Team with details of the property be searched against no later than 2 full working days before the appointment.
About personal searches
It must be stressed that a personal search is only of the Local Land Charges Register and does not provide answers to questions asked on the CON29 enquiry form. Once the register has been inspected, the personal search has been concluded.
