School governor training
Overview
The School Governor's training programme takes place yearly.
To make the training more accessible, some sessions will take place online, and others will take place face to face.
Attending is not compulsory, but will help you to:
- improve effectiveness in your role
- keep you up to date on developments that may affect your school and your role as governor
If you want to come along to any of the training sessions, or want training in a particular issue delivered in your school, please contact the Governor Support Service through your Chair of Governors. There may be an extra cost to the school.
