24T20 - Year 6 Writing Moderation Surgery

Content:

• Opportunity to meet and discuss standards of work in Writing with other Year 6 colleagues
• Assess against the statutory end of KS2 Writing Assessment Framework
• Identify any gaps that need to be addressed
• Teachers will need to bring along evidence - this is up to the individual teacher, possibly 'borderline' children
• External moderators will be available for discussion and support

Expected Impact on Schools:

• Accurate assessment of children's writing against the KS2 Assessment Frameworks
• Gaps identified to be addressed back at school
