Public health news: March 2025
Restart offer weekly groups for women to help them understand their experiences of domestic abuse. The group programmes offer a safe and empowering space for emotional and practical support.
The groups help women to:
- make connections with other victim / survivors
- build confidence
- increase self-esteem
- develop resilience
Our groups help women to recognise the impact that abuse has had on them and their children. They can also support women to develop ways to cope with past abuse and plans to avoid future abusive relationships.
These programmes are designed for women and facilitated by women.
