This month, we launched Our South Tyneside Data Observatory, a free to use website with lots of up to date information about our borough.

The website brings together data, research and evidence about South Tyneside into one place and you can use it to learn about how South Tyneside compares to the North East and England across a wide range of topics.

This includes our population and their health, our local economy, environment, crime and more. You can also find data about your local area and reports from research and evaluations conducted in South Tyneside.

Anyone can use Our South Tyneside Data Observatory and we hope the website will be useful to residents, businesses, the public sector, the voluntary and community sector and anyone else interested in learning more about our borough!
