Barbara Tennet, is our new Pledge Support Officer, and her role is to help organisations to link up and work together and to signpost pledge members towards the support available through the Council and partners, such as on procurement, skills, recruitment, sustainability and much more.

Barbara will also be spreading the word about the Pledge to encourage more organisations to get involved, as well as reviewing how the Pledge currently works and what could be improved, as well as the difference it is making.

Barbara has ran her own business and worked in housing strategy and welfare support so brings a range of experience, knowledge and passion for South Tyneside to the role.
