Jarrow Slake and River Don (walking for wellbeing)

Currently there are no instances scheduled for this event

Come along with us for a wander by the river.

On this walk, we will follow Curlew Road down to the River Don. From here, we will take a short detour down to Jarrow Slake for some great views across the Tyne. We will then follow the River Don towards St Paul's church. Look out for a large variety of wildfowl on the water including mute swans and egrets. We will return to the library via Charlie's Park and Jarrow Hall.
