Induction for New Governors

About the Course

This session is intended to familiarise new governors with the work of a governing board / board of directors and the role of the individual school governor / director. Although the strategic work of governing boards will be covered, equal emphasis will be given to the basic practical issues that may be facing new governors / directors. This course is also a good opportunity for long standing governors to refresh.

This course is suitable for New Governor's, or existing Governor's who would like a refresher

This course will take place Wednesday 27th November 2024, starting at 5pm (please arrive no later than 4:55pm) until 7pm and is within South Shields Town Hall. Please arrive at main reception and Joanne will meet you to take you to the training room.
