Fun with Zeb and Jet at The Word

Calling all young adventurers for a paw-some morning with our fox cub and puppy dog superheroes - Zeb and Jet. Join in the fun and learn about allergy safety.

The session will start with Whitburn children's author, Mirabel, reading from her new book: Zeb, Jet and the Ice-Cream Calamity.

Jet is allergic to milk but wants to have fun with his friends.

Kids, parents and grandparents come along and join in this special mission to become allergy safety champions by learning how to keep our friendly puppy, Jet, safe around food.

Everyone will learn the four steps needed to help Jet stay safe when out and about or at a party. There is also a song for you to sing along!

Materials will be provided to unleash your talents and draw pictures, face masks and a comic strip whilst learning how to create a safer world for those living with allergies.

Suitable for ages 5-8 (craft activities suitable for older children too)

£2.50 per person, booking required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets must be booked for both children and adults.

Tickets can be booked online (plus booking fee) at: Fun with Zeb and Jet or in person at the Shop @ The Word.

This event is part of The Word's WRITE Festival which takes place throughout the whole of September. Enjoy a programme of unmissable events, workshops and performances! Find out more by viewing our full WRITE Festival programme.
