A new service has been launched by South Tyneside Works to support residents with health conditions and disabilities access education, employment and training.

Specialist staff and training providers are ready to help you get on track. We can help, no matter what your needs and goals are.

These might be your first steps on your career path or you might be coming back after a break.

Paula Oliver, Job Coach, said: "Support available from South Tyneside Works is tailored to the needs of the individual. It includes activities that will develop essential skills needed to succeed in the workplace.

Some of that support includes:

  • Travel training
  • Signposting for specialist support
  • Wellbeing
  • Work placements
  • Vocational qualifications
  • Supported job searches
