If you're worried someone might be radicalised (PREVENT strategy)

Support and guidance

Channel

Channel is a safeguarding programme which focuses on providing support at an early stage to people who are at risk of radicalisation, supporting terrorism or committing terrorist acts.

Channel uses a multi-agency approach to:

  • identify people at risk
  • assess the nature and extent of that risk
  • develop the most appropriate support plan for the person concerned.

For more information, see GOV.UK: Channel duty guidance: protecting people susceptible to radicalisation (accessible)
