Trees affecting public access, highway safety or visibility
If the tree is located on a street or in a public space then please call our Contact Centre on 0191 427 7000, email us at customerhelp@southtyneside.gov.uk, or report it online.
If the tree is obstructing a highway or any other area, please report this online as a highways obstruction.
We work on a risk-based system when assessing requests and these will be prioritised based on actual danger or risk, not perceived risk such as a tree's size.
