23TP - Science CPD

Content:

During this session, we will look at the EEF "Improving Primary Science" report and explore different recommendations underpinned by high quality research. You will get the chance to digest this report and reflect on your current practice with other subject leaders in your area. We will look at different ideas and approaches to help embed strategies to make meaningful improvements to primary science teaching. As well as this, we will plan next steps, which will support you with your subject leader action plan in school.

Expected Impact on Schools:

• Meaningful improvements to primary science teaching
• Support subject leaders to help close the attainment gap and cultivate pupil attitudes towards science
