Content:

• Explore the impact of trauma and ACEs on children and young people
• Consider strategies to make the child or young person feel safe in the classroom
• Discussing strategies
• Discussion of changes which could be made in the classroom to support a trauma informed approach to managing behaviour

Expected Impact on School/Setting:

• Increased understanding of the impact of trauma and ACEs on a child/young person
• Develop inclusive behaviour practice in the classroom which encourages learners to engage, learn and feel safe and supported
