This session will support you to:

• identify barriers to writing your pupils may have and develop strategies to overcome them
• Develop oracy strategies to support children in planning and rehearsing what they want to write
• Explore ways to scaffold writing effectively to ensure pupils who struggle with writing make good progress

• Provide practitioners with an understanding of how and why children struggle with writing, leading to improved outcomes for all children
