Overview

We have developed a strategy for people with learning disabilities.

People with learning disabilities were closely involved in its development and it has been published as an easy-to-read document.

The strategy describes how we will work to meet the needs of people with a learning disability in South Tyneside.

There are also two supporting documents you can read:

1. A strategy launch document that summarises the workshops that took place
2. A document which summarises the event where we discussed the strategy and agreed the next steps
