Animal Protection Charter

About this publication

The South Tyneside Animal Protection Charter has been developed by South Tyneside Council, with involvement from local residents and other interested groups. 

It is intended that the commitments in this charter will help to ensure the welfare of animals, wild and domesticated, in the South Tyneside area and beyond.

The charter will be reviewed and updated regularly to ensure it reflects any significant changes in legislation.
