  • To assist participants understanding of their roles and responsibilities in applying the principles in practice of the Mental Capacity Act

  • Understand the Capacity Assessment Framework and Best Interest checklist
  • Understand the role of the decision-maker
  • Understand the interface between the Mental Capacity Act and other legislation

  • Implement the Mental Capacity and support staff
  • Plan a Capacity Assessment
