Course aims

  • To provide professionals with an understanding of Child Financial Abuse and the links to exploitation

Course learning outcomes

By the end of the session participants will:

  • Develop an understanding of risk of Child Financial Exploitation through sharing national research and local insights
  • Understand why Child Financial Exploitation should be viewed as a separate concern, whilst understanding its links to other forms of exploitation
  • Be able to reflect on our own ability to respond to Child Financial Exploitation in a multi-agency context and share experiences
  • Understand appropriate language for referring to Child Financial Exploitation
