Course aims

  • To explore the issue of gambling related harms, including gambling within gaming, and encourage young people to make informed choices whilst signposting to available support and treatment

Course learning outcomes

By the end of the session participants will:

  • Have an increased knowledge of how young people are affected by gambling related harms
  • Have confidence to have conversations with young people abut how gambling might be affecting them
  • Understand how to provide the appropriate support through screening, advice, interventions and signposting
