About this publication
This report is an interim Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) of the emerging growth scenarios and options for South Tyneside.
It is being undertaken in the early stages of the preparation of the new Local Plan for South Tyneside, in recognition of the risks posed to european wildlife sites as a result of new growth in the borough.
A HRA considers the implications of a plan or project for European wildlife sites.
