This report is an interim Supplementary Planning Document (SPD), prepared following an interim Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) of the emerging growth scenarios and options for the South Tyneside Borough, and subsequent development of a recreation mitigation strategy in response to an identified risk of increased recreation pressure on European wildlife sites as a result of new housing growth.
