Overview

If you're referred to hospital or other NHS building for specialist NHS treatment or diagnostic tests by your doctor, dentist or another health professional, you may be able to get a refund on your travel costs.

This is called the Healthcare Travel Cost Scheme.

This may be helpful for unpaid carers.
