The scheme is for those aged 5 - 14 years old and can enjoy a range of fun sporting activities and crafts at The Cabin throughout the year.
The Cabin's facilities range from a large outdoor sports field, table tennis and an indoor pool table.
There is a fantastic variety of activities and facilities to keep children active and entertained after school.
To allow your child to come along to The Cabin after school, you will need to complete a simple registration form that will be renewed on a yearly basis.

The Cabin opened on 6 April 1990 and has served the community of South Tyneside ever since. Over the years, it has held many popular Family Fun Days with marquees, inflatable bouncy castles, face painting, BBQ's and more.
Currently, The Cabin offers club sessions 2 nights a week for children of varied ages. These sessions run as a 'free play' structure and are less rigid than a lot of after school coaching sessions.
The sessions typically provide activities and games with and without equipment, indoor and outdoor (weather dependant). Activities on offer include:
- indoor games
- arts and crafts
- outdoor games
- football in the floodlit games area
