About STANLEY's daycare at Primrose Family Hub

  • Childcare is offered between the hours of 8am and 6pm for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.
  • The setting is fully equipped to provide quality learning and education.
  • We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and this sets the standard to make sure all children are kept healthy and safe and staff work with parents to ensure each child is supported in their development within the setting.
  • We offer a combination of services for parents; sessional day care, wrap-around service for children accessing Nursery Education at Valley View School and we have 15 hour free places available for children eligible for the 2 year and 3 year offer. 
  • All of our children are encouraged to learn through play in an active learning environment.
  • Children are given time to explore a wide variety of materials, objects and equipment in order to learn first-hand.
  • We offer a variety of physical play for all ages, the caterpillars have their own baby gym within the room, our spacious outdoor area is shared by all children which compromises of many areas suitable for development across all aspects. This is offered to children during the nursery routine as free flow and this allows the children to access both in / outdoor play during this time. 
  • We also have a Soft Play room and Sensory room which is shared by all children.
  • The staff team are all qualified and between them hold a wealth of experience to provide good quality learning for young children.
  • The staff are friendly, approachable and caring, who strive to meet the needs of all children in their care. 

We have 2 day care rooms:

  • Caterpillars - offers a calm and warm environment for babies to develop sensory skills to lead them into further developing in all areas.
  • Butterflies - A welcoming environments that offers stimulating areas equipped with age appropriate resources.
