Sense Ability Matters (SAM) is a local organisation which provides a wide range of services to support people living in Gateshead and South Tyneside who are blind, partially sighted, deaf or hard of hearing on their journey to independence.

Who can access the service
Any person who is living in Gateshead or South Tyneside with sight or hearing loss can access the service. The person does not need to be registered Sight Impaired (partially sighted) or Severely Sight Impaired (blind).
