Calvert Kielder is located in the stunning Kielder Water & Forest Park. They offer challenging, exciting and fun activities and a range of accommodation types to suit everyone, in an awe-inspiring environment.
Support available
Calvert Kielder welcomes families, groups and individuals on a residential and day visit basis and uniquely offers 24 hour respite care for adults travelling alone.
All rooms have en-suite facilities with level entry showers or bathrooms and fitted with specialist equipment such as hoists, grab rails and shower seats. Additionally, several of the bedrooms have 5-way profiling beds and a number are fitted with ceiling tracking hoists.
Respite guests are encouraged to take part in activities, safe in the knowledge that they will be supported by professional care and activity teams.

Adult respite care holidays are for those with physical, learning or sensory disabilities, who require personal care and support whilst away from home.
