Riverside and Customs House walk (Walking for wellbeing)

This short walk will take us along the riverside.

First, we will walk north past the old dry docks, taking in the views across to North Shields.

We'll then turn back south towards the Customs House from where there are superb views down the river.

South Shields Interchange (bus and metro) is only a 5 minute walk from The Word. The ferry landing is only 3 minutes away.
