Dangerous trees
Trees posing risk of harm
If a tree is posing a serious risk of harm or needs for urgent attention, you can or call our Contact Centre on 0191 427 7000 as soon as possible. You should select "emergency works" as your report category.
If the work is not urgent, you should select "dead, dangerous or damaged braches" as your report category.
Further information may be required so please provide information such as:
- photographs
- street numbers
- postcode
- location
- size and species of the tree (if known)
We will then deal with your enquiry on a risk-by-risk basis as quickly as possible. Please leave an email address in case we need to contact you.
Trees with rope swing
If a tree has a rope swing attached in a public space, we aim to remove these as soon as possible. Please call our Contact Centre on 0191 427 7000 to report and provide further evidence such as photographs so we can deal with this quickly.
