A mystical evening of clairvoyance is on the cards as the people of South Tyneside are invited to help raise cash for good causes.

The Mayor of South Tyneside, Councillor Pat Hay, and Mayoress Jean Copp, are hosting a charity clairvoyant evening on Friday 25 March, from 7pm, in the Reception Room at South Shields Town Hall.

Tickets for the evening, with psychic medium Kerry Clairvoyant, cost £15 each and include a glass of wine or tea and coffee.

Money raised from the event will go towards the Mayor's Charity, which this year is supporting The Customs House and Cancer Connection among other causes.

The Mayor said: "This is one of a number of events held throughout my time of office to help raise money for charities, which do a great deal of work supporting residents and their families across the Borough.

"We would urge those interested to get their tickets early and help us to give these good causes a real boost. It is sure to be a fantastic evening."

The event is for entertainment purposes only.
