Poetry Writing Workshop with Rowan McCabe

Time: 11:00
13:00
Price: Free
The Word, National Centre for the Written Word

This event is part of our library Spring WRITE Festival, a week-long festival of writing, storytelling, mystery and more.

Springtime isn't fussy, is it? It doesn't care whether you live in the countryside, or in a tower block. Once every year, wherever you are, life returns from the brink and invades even the most barren places.

Join poet Rowan McCabe for a writing workshop that celebrates the more usual signs of the season, from beehives in the school roof to buddleia on the metro tracks.

£5 per person, booking required.
