Your Jarrow
Jarrow has secured £20 million government funding to make our town better for everyone including residents, young people, and businesses.
Jarrow Forward is a Neighbourhood Board made up of
- organisations
- employers
- schools
- businesses
- the MP for Jarrow & Gateshead East
- the Council
From 5 March 2025, the board is asking local people what their priorities for the area are to help create a plan for the next ten years and beyond.

What happens next
The survey will run for 12 weeks, then Jarrow Forward will use your ideas to create a detailed plan on how to spend the government funding.
