About this publication
A Level 2 Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) is required for 9 potential development sites located at the Port of Tyne.
It builds on the Level 1 Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA), prepared in September 2023, and is required to help determine whether these sites can be safe for their lifetime and subsequently be allocated in South Tyneside Council's Local Plan.
