Public health news: Read Easy
Would you like to support local people to improve their reading?
Public health news: December 2024
Read Easy is a volunteer organisation that provides free and confidential one-to-one reading coaching for adults.
Their vision is for all adults in the UK to have the literacy skills they need to fulfil their potential and live life to the full.
Thanks to volunteers, Read Easy groups deliver high-quality coaching services to local adults who want to improve their reading skills. That's not all, learning to read is just the start.
Their volunteers give someone a skill that allows them to fulfil their goals and live everyday life more easily.
Why not volunteer with them and help an adult in South Tyneside gain the reading skills they need to reach their potential and live their life to the full?
Volunteering is also a great way to meet new people in your community and beyond, share and develop your own skills and experience, and improve your wellbeing. It's a chance to try something new and to do something fulfilling for your community with your spare time. It's life-changing and you can be part of this!
